Binder
Use in North America
With the 823 and 824 series, Binder is presenting cable connectors that are equipped for use on the North American continent in accordance with UL 2237.
The K- and L-coded products in the M12 design are intended for use in power applications and are equipped with screw terminal connections. They meet the requirements of protection class IP67, meaning they are dust-tight and protected against temporary submersion. The 823 and 824 product series from Binder include cable and angle plugs as well as cable and angle sockets for rated voltages and currents of 630 V(AC) and 12 A (K-coding; number of poles 4+PE) or 63 V(DC) and 16 A (L-coding; number of poles 4+FE, functional earth). They have M12x1 threads, cable apertures from 8 to 13 mm and screw terminal connections. To meet the requirements of UL 2237, the threaded ring is electrically connected to the PE contact. UL 2237 certification is currently in preparation.
