Repositioning as a solution provider
As part of its repositioning as a solution provider, Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems Europe has changed its name to Panasonic Industry Europe. The company has also merged individual business units and optimized processes.
The new divisions are called Industrial Sales, Automotive Tier 1 Sales, Energy Solutions and Factory Solutions. Panasonic Electric Works Europe will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary of Panasonic Industry Europe.
Panasonic Industry Europe's portfolio includes electronic and electromechanical components, rechargeable batteries, displays, semiconductors and factory automation solutions. The most important application sectors are automotive and mobility, buildings and infrastructure, home and consumer, production and logistics as well as medicine and healthcare. The headquarters of Panasonic Industry Europe, including Panasonic Electric Works Europe, has been located in Ottobrunn near Munich for two years.
In order to meet the growing demand for total solutions, customer support and corporate management have been increasingly localized. Application solutions are developed with the help of internal expertise and in close cooperation with regional development and production partners. A Europe-wide sales network together with an established network of distribution partners ensures local support on the spot.
