Record sales in 2018
The Schurter Group can look back on a successful 2018. With growth of 11.4%, a record turnover was achieved in the company's 85-year history.
Specifically, turnover rose from 259.4 million Swiss francs in 2017 to 289 million Swiss francs last year. The Schurter'Components' division increased its turnover by 12% to 193.5 million Swiss francs. The 'Input Systems' division grew its turnover by 10.2% to 95.6 million Swiss francs.
The Group companies Burisch Elektronik Bauteile (Vienna, Austria) and AKI Electronic (Jihlava, Czech Republic) performed very well in their second year within the Schurter Group, according to the company. The markets in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary were fully transferred to Burisch. Schurter Electronics Sp. zo.o. (Warsaw, Poland), which was founded three years ago, has far exceeded the expected sales and earnings figures since its foundation.
Schurter is a manufacturer of electrical and electronic components. The focus is on safe power supply and simple operation of devices. The product range includes standard solutions in the areas of appliance protection, appliance plugs and connectors, EMC products, switches, input systems, electronic services and system solutions.
