Protect cable carriers and cables

The background to the development of Tsubaki Kabelschlepp is a well-known problem in automated production processes: With fast motion sequences and large workspaces, the relatively long cable carriers strike the robot arm. The 'pull-back unit' prevents this by keeping the cable carrier under tension. Premature wear therefore does not occur, the service life is extended and expensive downtimes are avoided. The compact design of the unit results in fewer interfering contours and a lower risk of collision.

The 'PBU' can be used in robots regardless of size, manufacturer and type and is also suitable for retrofitting and modernizing existing work cells. Standard mountings are available for robots from Kuka, ABB and Fanuc. The return unit can be mounted vertically, horizontally or overhead; the extension length is 350 mm.
