Precise temperature maintenance

Varistar LHX+ from nVent Electric is a standardized modular cooling system with up to 10 kW cooling capacity for test and measurement applications. The temperature control accuracy of the system is specified as ±0.1 °C peak to peak.

The cooling system from Schroff with scalable climate management requires a footprint of 600 mm x 800 mm. The electronics cabinet achieves an air flow rate of 1000 to 1800 m3/h. Depending on requirements, the cooling capacity can be increased during operation without adapting the infrastructure inside the cabinet. For a higher cooling capacity, a double-fan cooling unit with a cooling capacity of 10 kW can be interchanged with the single-fan cooling unit, which supports a cooling capacity of 5 kW.

Temperature control is realized via a modular control unit with the option of remote monitoring and remote control. Ethernet, SNMP, Modbus, TCP and web interface are available for remote applications. The temperature can be controlled via a door-mounted terminal with display and keypad as well as remotely via Ethernet access and web interface.
