Power and signal interface with quick lock
The Power Bayonet Connector 'PBC15' from Binder is suitable for supplying power and connecting signals to devices via a single cable.
The size of the connector from Binder corresponds to an M15 thread. It is particularly suitable for supplying power to three-phase motors or frequency converters and has three voltage contacts, two additional contacts for signal transmission and a PE protective contact. The quick-release fastener enables reliable locking with a quarter turn. The conductor connection is made via screw terminals. The connector is initially available as cable sockets and cable plugs that can be assembled, each as an unshielded or shielded version. Thanks to the rated values of 630 V and 16 A for the power interface, the circular connector is suitable for supplying power to small to medium-sized drives. With rated values of 63 V and 10 A, the signal contacts can be used to control brakes, for example, or to query operating values such as temperatures.
