Own cable range launched on the market
Under the umbrella brand 'Evoline', Murrplastik offers 'Evochain' energy chains, 'Evocable' cables and the complete assembly of energy chains under the name 'Evosystem'. The cables are supplied by the meter or assembled according to customer requirements.
The 'Evocable' range of abrasion-resistant cables includes control, data, motor, servo, measuring system and bus cables as well as fiber optic and coaxial cables. It is divided into three quality levels - depending on the load and requirements in terms of speed, acceleration and travel distance: Standard Dynamic (SD), High Dynamic (HD) and Highest Dynamic (HDplus). All three quality lines differ in terms of materials, structures and technical properties. To avoid expensive production downtime due to corkscrewing, abrasion, sheath or core breakage, PVC, PUR or TPE are available for the sheathing. The choice of material is based on requirements such as flexibility, installation space (bending radius), flame retardancy, freedom from halogens and resistance to abrasion, chemicals and oil. Depending on the quality line, there are different stranding constructions (layer, pair or bundle stranding). Regardless of the quality level, there are also cables with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
The Murrplastik range focuses in particular on the HDplus line. It includes cables with very low abrasion, a long service life, a small bending radius, resistance to oil and chemicals and for the highest mechanical loads. In the HDplus series, bundle stranding is used from twelve cores upwards. Multiple stranding extends the service life compared to layer stranding. The durability of the cables is further improved by gusset-filled extruded inner and outer sheaths. By filling the spaces between the cores, core movements inside the cable are avoided. In addition, the stranding cannot untwist.
