Stefan Theiler (photo) is the new Managing Director for Germany. He succeeds Bruno Ochs, who successfully managed the German Group company for more than 16 years. Ochs took up the newly created position of 'Group Business Development Manager' (BDM) at Schurter on January 1, 2021. His successor Theiler has already proven himself over several years in various positions within the Group (including Switzerland and China). Most recently, he was Head of Development at the German Schurter company.

Hellmar Adler also took over the management of the Austrian Group company Burisch Elektronik Bauteile in Vienna on January 1, 2021. Adler has worked for Burisch for 15 years and has contributed a great deal to the company's development during this time. Previously, Ferdinand Lang led the company as Managing Director for 23 years. With the generational change, Lang will concentrate fully on developing the business in the Eastern Europe region as 'Regional Head Eastern Europe'.

Schurter Electronics' business in Italy was managed by Antonello Martegani for almost 40 years. Marcelo Soares has now taken over responsibility as Managing Director at the beginning of the year. From 2006 to 2019, Soares built up and managed the joint venture 'Schurter + OKW do Brasil Componentes Electronicos Ltda.' in Brazil. He has been involved in business operations in Italy since January 2020. Martegani will be available to the Italian company in the role of 'Project Manager/Key Account Manager'.
