New managing director appointed
Stefan Olding has been Managing Director of the Harting Technology Group's largest sales company since the beginning of February 2016. He takes over the position from Rüdiger Prill.
Stefan Olding, who studied electrical engineering, began his professional career in 1986 as a project engineer for I&C technology and process control engineering at Hartmann & Braun, Schoppe & Faeser in Minden. After holding several professional positions, he accepted an offer from Pilz, a full-service provider of safe automation technology in Ostfildern near Stuttgart, at the beginning of 1999. There he was responsible for Key Account Management Automotive, and in 2007 he was promoted to head the entire German sales organization.
Olding takes over his new position at Harting Germany from Rüdiger Prill. The latter is leaving after ten years as Managing Director, but intends to remain associated with the company as a consultant and responsible for committee work.
