IO modules

Inka Krischke,

Multi-functional design of slots

Murrelektronik‘s Solid67 IO modules simplify field installations and are particularly suitable for applications with IO-Link sensors and actuators.

They provide eight IO-Link slots in close proximity to the process, but also integrate classic IOs into the system. A fully encapsulated metal housing, vibration-shock values of 15 G and 5 G as well as working in the temperature range between -20 and +70°C provide application possibilities in harsh industrial environments. Diagnostics and troubleshooting can be performed directly on the module as well as via the controller and an integrated web server. The fieldbus modules are multi-protocol capable and support Profinet and EtherNet/IP in a single module. To switch from one protocol to the other, only a rotary switch on the device has to be turned. The M12 power cables (L-coded) are particularly current-carrying and can transmit up to 16 A. The power supply can be looped over several modules. The width is 30 mm.
