Michael Nörr joins the Management Board

The connector specialist Hummel from Denzlingen, Baden-Württemberg, has appointed a new Management Board member as of August 1, 2017: As Chief Operation Officer (COO), Michael Nörr is responsible for the areas of production, development and, in future, supply chain management.

In this newly created position on the Management Board, Michael Nörr will support CEO Holger Hummel and Ralf Schuler, the member of the Management Board responsible for Sales and Marketing. Nörr was born in Franconia and previously held various positions at cable manufacturer Leoni. Among other things, Nörr was responsible for cable systems in robotics and thus brings a wealth of experience in connection technology and cable management.

Hummel employs around 550 people worldwide, 350 of whom work at the Denzlingen and Waldkirch sites. The company produces electrotechnical components such as connectors and cable glands as well as heating accessories.
