Binder is expanding its M12 portfolio to include flange connectors with L-coding and dip solder contacts. The standardized products are suitable for both front and rear panel mounting.

Soldered into PCBs, the IP68-protected connectors from Binder support the trend towards decentralization and are used to supply devices with 63 V and 16 A - for example in industrial Ethernet applications in the Profinet environment. The two-part flange plugs and flange sockets of the 'Series 823' are suitable for manual, wave and especially reflow soldering on PCBs in automation applications.

They each consist of an installation body and flange housing, between which there is no fixed connection. A recessed O-ring with a metal stop and an O-ring between the flange housing and contact body prevent potting from escaping when the user housing is poured. A seal to the cable section is also provided on the flange section housing.
