Outdoor-optimized wall-mounted control cabinets
With the 'Arca IEC' series, available in 17 housing sizes, Fibox offers solutions made of fiber-reinforced polycarbonate for indoor and outdoor use.
In the outdoor sector, corrosion protection is a decisive factor for the longevity, maintenance requirements and tightness of the enclosures. Fibox polycarbonate enclosures have a robust, vandal-proof enclosure design. The partially double-walled design and the edge-reinforced lid ensure impact resistance up to IK10. Foamed-in seals made of age-resistant polyurethane ensure a high degree of protection of IP66. According to the manufacturer, the series also has excellent insulation properties, good chemical resistance and is suitable for the extended temperature range of -40 to +80 °C. The housing material is halogen-free, flame-retardant in accordance with UL 94 5VA and insensitive to UV radiation. Optional rain protection edges prevent standing water or snow from penetrating the enclosure when it is opened.
