Extended to include fiber optic variants
Phoenix Contact is expanding the FL Switch 1000 series with fibre optic variants that are housed in a slimline enclosure and, according to the supplier, offer a higher port density and prioritization of data traffic for automation protocols.
The seven models include both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet variants, enabling applications with different bandwidths in a variety of industries. Some devices are also equipped with SFP ports, providing greater flexibility for customers depending on their connection type and distance requirements.
With the mounting accessories, the switch series can be mounted flat on the mounting rail, enabling use in small or flat cabinets with limited space.
