Before joining ODU, Denis Giba was responsible for sales in Europe at sensor manufacturer Leuze Electronic. Prior to that, he worked for Würth Elektronik, a family-owned company in the electronics industry, for 19 years in various positions of responsibility, most recently as Managing Director Sales & Marketing. During his time at Würth, Giba worked in the USA for several years and was also responsible for sales in Asia.
Giba succeeds Dr. Joachim Belz, who left the company at the end of last year at his own request. ODU is a supplier of connector systems and employs around 1,900 people worldwide, 1,000 of whom work at the Group's headquarters in Mühldorf am Inn alone. Other production sites are located in Sibiu (Romania), Camarillo (USA), Shanghai (China) and Tijuana (Mexico).
