Defy strong vibrations

TE Connectivity is launching a new family of 'industrial mini' I/O cable assemblies with reduced dimensions and a special method for connecting the cables.

According to the manufacturer, the connectors are only a quarter of the size of conventional RJ45 connectors and therefore make optimum use of the limited space on PCBs. Two contact points ensure a reliable connection, allowing the connectors to withstand even strong vibrations. The coded interface prevents faulty connections. The assemblies are available in different cable versions, for example with a 'mini I/O' to an industrial RJ45. They enable a variety of designs for different application requirements, from protection for use in harsh environments to flexible cabling in the control cabinet.
