Norimitsu Ito is the new CEO
Norimitsu Ito is the new CEO of Harmonic Drive AG. He succeeds Ekrem Sirman, who left the company at the end of 2019, as CEO.
Norimitsu Ito took over the position of CEO at Harmonic Drive on January 13, 2020. He succeeded Ekrem Sirman, who left the company on December 31, 2019 after 14 years. Ito himself has been with the company since 2017 and previously held the position of COO.
Thomas Berger has also been appointed to the Management Board as CFO with a focus on finance, controlling, HR and digitalization, and Peter Hantl as the new SCO/CMO. In this role, Hantl will focus on the expansion of international sales structures and strategic product and brand development, as well as the associated strengthening of technology leadership and profitability.
