The geared motors are available in energy efficiency classes IE2 and IE3. The first geared motor range under the WEG brand is based on Watt Drive's development and manufacturing expertise and combines this with WEG's motor know-how and global sales and service network. Thanks to the standard connection dimensions, the geared motors can be used in both newly developed and existing systems worldwide. The modular gear add-on motor also facilitates interchangeability, as it covers almost all global voltages thanks to the motor's internal voltage changeover. The geared motors have a two-stage design with a large reduction range and, according to the manufacturer, generate only low energy losses.
