The drivers were designed for Ethercat connection or RS485 communication and are suitable for all AZ drives with DC voltage (24/48 V(DC)). The version for RS485 communication weighs only 56 g and measures 47 mm x 53 mm x 24 mm, which is advantageous for driverless transport vehicles, for example. The drivers can be mounted directly without a DIN rail using two screws.

With the help of a higher-level controller, they can also be used for voltage monitoring: They then emit an alarm signal when the voltage falls below a predefined level. This function is particularly useful for AGV applications to prevent battery failure during operation. The 'Servo Emulation Mode' optimizes the current according to the load: the current is higher for heavy loads and lower for light loads. Oriental Motor specifies the power supply range as 20 to 32 V(DC) at 24 V(DC) and 40 to 55 V(DC) at 48 V(DC).
