Implementation of the 2020+ strategy is progressing

Lenze presented its Strategy 2020+ for the first time in October of this year. To implement the strategy, the company plans to invest significantly more than EUR 100 million in the future over the coming years. A significant proportion of this will flow into the Mechatronic Competence Campus (MCC) core project from the start of the 2017/18 financial year. With this largest investment in the company's history to date, Lenze is merging three production sites into one modern plant with state-of-the-art logistics.

The Lenze 2020+ growth strategy continues the move towards a clear market segment orientation that began several years ago and lays the foundations for stable and sustainable growth in the core business. At the same time, it addresses the challenges of digitalization and creates space alongside the core business to develop new, future-oriented business areas.

Lenze's portfolio is based on three pillars: mechatronic products and packages on the one hand, and automation systems - the company's core business - on the other. The third pillar is future-oriented digital services. Lenze focuses on five industries: Automotive, Consumer Goods, Converting & Printing, Intralogistics and Textile. The aim is to establish itself among the top 5 leading suppliers in each of these focus industries.
