In March 2017, visitors to the Cebit trade fair in Hanover will be able to experience what has been running as a test in a Europe-wide pioneering project in Switzerland for several months: a ride in an autonomous 'SmartShuttle' - an overview of the key technical data.

<p>Since the start of test operations in June 2016, the two Swiss Post 'SmartShuttles' have driven a total of around 2,500 kilometers and transported over 14,000 passengers. The test phase will continue until October 2017, with the vehicles making a "trip" to the Hanover Exhibition Center in March.</p> © Postbus Switzerland
