Formula Student Germany 2018Swiss and German racing cars at the front
A total of 4,000 students competed in 118 teams in the 'Formula Student Germany 2018' competition at the Hockenheimring in August. Their self-built racing cars competed in three categories: Combustion Engine, Electric Drive and Autonomous Vehicles.

The overall victory in the 'Combustion' competition class was won by the 'Racing Team of the University of Stuttgart' with over 888 points - just ahead of the team from Graz University of Technology (over 881 points) and the team from Coburg University of Applied Sciences (over 866 points).
