Dassault Systèmes Confirms Annual Targets

Dassault Systèmes has released its financial results for the second quarter and the first half of 2026. The company generated revenue of 1.56 billion euros in the second quarter. Compared to the same period last year, this represents 4% growth on a constant-currency basis. Software revenue also rose by 4% to 1.40 billion euros.

Business related to the 3DExperience platform and cloud software grew particularly strongly. Both segments grew by 14% each in the second quarter. The share of recurring revenue remained high: Recurring revenue accounted for 81% of software revenue.

The operating margin under IFRS was 23.0%, compared with 15.9% in the second quarter of 2025. On a non-IFRS basis, the operating margin reached 30.0%. Adjusted earnings per share rose 8% to 0.31 euros on a constant-currency basis.

In the first half of 2026, Dassault Systèmes generated operating cash flow of 1.24 billion euros. This represents an 11% increase compared with the same period last year. Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) increased by 6% year-over-year to 4.44 billion euros.

Software business performance varied by region. In the Americas, software revenue rose by 5%, while it remained flat in Europe. In Asia, revenue increased by 8%. Growth was driven, among other things, by the Transportation & Mobility, Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial Equipment sectors.

In the products segment, Industrial Innovation posted growth of 5% to 768 million euros. Mainstream Innovation rose by 8% to 380 million euros. The Life Sciences & Healthcare segment, on the other hand, declined by 4% to 252 million euros.

Along with its quarterly results, Dassault Systèmes announced the acquisition of ArisGlobal. The company develops software for safety and regulatory processes in the pharmaceutical industry. With this acquisition, Dassault Systèmes aims to expand its activities in the life sciences sector and develop a platform for integrating scientific models, clinical data, and regulatory information.

CEO Pascal Daloz: “As AI increasingly becomes the new interface with industry, our 3DExperience platform is evolving into an agent-based platform where virtual assistants collaborate with engineers, designers, scientists, and manufacturers to accelerate decision-making and implementation.”

For the full year 2026, Dassault Systèmes confirms its previous guidance. The company continues to expect revenue of between 6.296 billion euros and 6.416 billion euros, as well as a non-IFRS operating margin of between 32.2% and 32.6%. Adjusted earnings per share are expected to range between 1.30 euros and 1.34 euros.
