Germany's most popular electric car is...?
"Chic, clean, unpopular" is how Die Zeit rated the electric car in Germany. The online marketplace AutoScout24 has evaluated the most popular electric car models in its database and compiled a top ten ranking.
There are still a number of objections to electric vehicles: they are expensive, theircarbon footprint is anything but flawless, some of them are impractical and boring, their range is too short and the infrastructure is inadequate. The purchase premium was intended to at least reduce the purchase price, but this has not resulted in more e-cars on German roads. Yet there is definitely interest in electric vehicles.
