Formula E in Berlin

The ninth race of Formula E season 4 took place on May 19, 2018. The venue for the ePrix was the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.

The Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler team was able to celebrate the one-two victory of its drivers Daniel Abt and Lucas di Grassi. Third place was secured by Jean-Eric Vergne, who now leads the drivers' standings with three races to go. The next stops are Zurich and finally New York.

Formula E in Berlin was an experience for young and old alike, offering a compact daily program with free practice, pit walk, qualifying, autograph session, driver parade and Roborace in addition to the actual race. Racing fans got their money's worth, as did electromobility enthusiasts, who were able to find out about innovations from various car manufacturers and infrastructure suppliers such as Qualcomm and ABB.

Electric air cab 'Cora' presented

The New Zealand-based company Kitty Hawk has unveiled the 'Cora' air cab. It should be able to fly autonomously and reach a top speed of 177 km/h. The aircraft is due to take off in New Zealand in three years' time.
