Faulhaber founds new company in Austria
Faulhaber Austria GmbH in Vienna begins its business activities on May 2. The newly founded company takes over the sales and service of Drive Systems products in Austria from Elra-Antriebssysteme, which was previously active there as a distributor.
"Austria is an important market for us in which we want to strengthen our presence," explains Marcus Remmel, General Sales Manager at Faulhaber Drive Systems and new Managing Director of Faulhaber Austria. "In the fields of medical technology and automation technology, among others, there are many highly interesting companies based here that are already our customers today or that we want to acquire as such."
Faulhaber specializes in the development, production and use of miniature and microdrive systems, servo components and drive electronics with an output power of up to 250 watts. The product range includes brushless motors, DC micromotors, encoders and motion controllers. Faulhaber also offers customer-specific product development and complete solutions for application areas such as medical and laboratory technology, automation technology and robotics, precision optics, aerospace and other industries. The company employs more than 1,800 people worldwide.
