Burkhard Balz to push system business
Burkhard Balz has been Senior Vice President Automation Systems at automation specialist Lenze since November 1, 2019. According to the company, filling this newly created position is another important step towards strengthening the global systems business.
"The systems business is one of our strategic pillars and its further development is therefore a high priority for Lenze," says Lenze CEO Christian Wendler about the newly created position of Senior Vice President Automation Systems. Burkhard Balz was previously Vice President Sales and Marketing Power & Energy/Industry EMEA at the US industrial group SPX Flow. Prior to this, he held various top management positions at international industrial companies, including Eaton Corporation and Rockwell Automation. He has experience in the field of drive technology and in the systems business. He also has specialist expertise, particularly in the areas of sales, marketing and business development. Balz holds a diploma in General European Management and is a state-certified technician specializing in data processing.
