Each axis of the axis controller from Nanotec is equipped with four digital inputs, two outputs, an analog input and an output for a safety brake. According to the manufacturer, field-oriented torque, speed and position control in conjunction with other features - such as acceleration pre-control and jerk-limited ramps - ensure high dynamic performance and cycle time. The compact 4-axis controller is available in a version with 3 A peak current for small stepper motors and in a version with 9 A peak current for BLDC motors and larger stepper motors. The controller is commissioned via the USB service interface.
