The Munich area has received the most big data project inquiries in the last twelve months. However, freelancers do not achieve the highest hourly rate there. This is shown by a recent analysis by the personnel service provider Gulp.

According to Gulp, the hourly rates entered by IT freelancers in their profiles average 90 euros. This is 7 euros more than the overall average for all IT freelancers. While there was initially a wide gap here, Gulp has observed stagnation over the past year.
