The Munich area has received the most big data project inquiries in the last twelve months. However, freelancers do not achieve the highest hourly rate there. This is shown by a recent analysis by the personnel service provider Gulp.

Compared to other skills that are considered "perennial favorites" for IT projects (such as programming languages like Java), the proportion of big data projects in all projects offered by the recruitment service provider Gulp is low: big data skills were sought in only 1.6% of all project requests.
