Following the merger of Automation24 with Visaya last year, the online distributor has expanded its range of automation technology to include complex process automation. An extended range of process instrumentation and factory automation as well as the new product category 'safety technology' can now be found at automation24.de.

Interested parties from the manufacturing industry will find the new range with corresponding sub-categories under the new product category. For example, the distributor offers RFID safety sensors that can be used to monitor machine and plant doors easily and tamper-proof. Safety functions in the system can be conveniently implemented with the safety controllers and expanded as required. Various versions of emergency stop buttons are available for safely switching off or stopping the system in hazardous situations.

As Managing Director, Thorsten Schulze is responsible in particular for product range management. He explains the distributor's strategy: "Our aim is to offer our customers the best possible service. In order to respond more specifically to their needs, we have added the 'security technology' area to our portfolio on the one hand, and on the other, customers can find everything they need from us, not just individual components, regardless of the category. In addition to the items in stock, this also includes the option of building individually configured solutions tailored to the company's own conditions."

Range for process instrumentation further expanded

Automation24 has been offering the Endress+Hauser process instrumentation range since summer 2021. With additional suppliers such as Novus, Metri, Equflow and Lascar electronics, as well as other product categories, the online store is gradually expanding its portfolio for the process world. Customers will find a wide range of measuring devices for determining fill levels, temperature, pressure and flow as well as corresponding accessories.

New brands in factory automation

With the addition of brands such as Ixon, Automation24 offers new instruments for control and automation. Reliable and precise object detection and positioning can be realized with the photoelectric sensors, diffuse reflection sensors and laser sensors from Leuze. From a series with standard functions for universal industrial use and user-friendly optical sensors for the packaging and conveyor industry to the 25C sensor line, which covers numerous areas of application in intralogistics, packaging and automation technology, the new products offer a variety of solutions. Workstations and machines can be homogeneously illuminated with LED machine lights and machine statuses can be signaled. For system visualization directly at the machine, the Simatic HMI touch panels offer convenient operation with colour touch displays.
