New representatives elected to the Executive Board
Board elections at the AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement: Peter Krause (First Sensor) remains Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ralf Slatter (Sensitec) and Professor Dr. Stefan Zimmermann (Leibniz University Hanover) were newly elected to the Board.
Dr. Rolf Slatter, Managing Partner of Sensitec, takes over the position of Secretary from Peter Scholz(imc Test & Measurement), who did not stand for re-election after several terms in office. Stefan Zimmermann will act as Chairman of the AMA Science Council in the future, replacing long-time Chairman Andreas Schütze (Saarland University), who did not run for the position of Chairman again but will remain active on the AMA Science Council as Deputy Chairman.
Christoph Kleye(IS-Line) was confirmed as Deputy Chairman and Johannes W. Steinebach(TWK-Elektronik) as Treasurer for a further two-year term of office.

On course for further growth

Positive development in the 1st quarter
In the first quarter of 2024, sensor and measurement technology companies generated sales growth of 2% compared to the previous quarter. This was the result of the quarterly survey of the AMA Association's 450 members on economic development.
