Level sensors for a wide range of media
A sensor platform from EBE sensors + motion offers compact level sensors for contactless level measurement.
The sensors are suitable for devices with small installation spaces, such as measuring and laboratory devices and medical technology. With the EBE sensor test kit, the performance of the sensor can be tested directly at the customer's site on the respective application. The manufacturer's level sensors detect and measure a wide variety of media without contact. The current sensor generation, based on 'Capatec' technology, of continuous level sensors offers the possibility of contactless measurement of a wide variety of media, such as liquids, granulates and powdered materials over a measuring range of up to 100 mm. They are virtually insensitive to external interference factors. The Capatec sensors are mounted on a printed circuit board so that they can be used in almost any device. The sensor is mounted outside the tank. The medium inside the tank can be reliably detected with wall thicknesses of up to 8 mm, and even an air gap between the tank and sensor poses no problem.
