The sensors operate with a measuring range of 6 mm, providing measuring ranges between 2 and 500 mm. The sensors can be used for measuring tasks in various industries. For example, they are suitable for measuring the film thickness of batteries. The 6LL model with laser line is designed for rough and reflective surfaces.

The sensor from Micro-Epsilon generates a small oval light spot instead of a light point. This light spot can be used to compensate for inhomogeneous surfaces, resulting in stable signals and high accuracy. In the battery industry, the sensors are used for thickness measurement, among other things. The sensors measure the film from two sides in order to determine the film or coating thickness.
