The sensor has an optional 'CondCheck' function, which enables the conductivity sensor, including the sensor's own electronics, to be checked without interrupting the measuring chain. Verification of the sensor in accordance with USP standard <645> is essential for GMP-compliant pharmaceutical production. The 2-electrode conductivity sensor with hygienic stainless steel design offers a wide measuring range from ultrapure water up to 1,000 µS/cm. An integrated temperature sensor ensures fast temperature compensation. On the process side, either an Ingold process connection in two lengths or a 1.5-inch or 2-inch clamp is possible. All materials used are FDA and USP VI-certified, the surface is electropolished and has a maximum roughness of 0.4 or 0.8 µm, depending on the type. As required in the pharmaceutical industry, the sensor is CIP- and SIP-capable.
