From the factory floor to the dishwasher
Cognitive robots collect huge amounts of data - thanks to 5G technology, they will be able to react almost in real time in future. Vodafone and Neura Robotics are entering into a partnership to make robots suitable for everyday use.
The robotics company Neura Robotics and Vodafone are launching a technology partnership to make cognitive and humanoid robots suitable for everyday use. The aim is to use the machines not only in industry, but also in private households - for example in care or when clearing out the dishwasher. This will be made possible by the use of 5G modules, which allow large amounts of data to be processed quickly and securely in real time.
The collaboration will be announced at the start of the automatica trade fair. Neura will also be presenting the third generation of its humanoid robot 4NE1 there. "Our joint mission is to bring robotic intelligence to where it is needed: to people," says Neura founder David Reger.
