Turck and Banner Engineering each hold half of the shares in Turck Banner Singapore Pte Ltd. As a regional center in the ASEAN region (Association of South East Asian Nations), the joint venture is intended to further develop the South East Asian markets and accelerate growth in the region. In addition, Singapore is to be established as a regional training center.

The joint venture is based at the German Center in Singapore. It will be headed by Chuck (Chol Seung) Choi, who was previously Managing Director of Turck's Korean subsidiary. The existing Turck team in Singapore will be supplemented by four Banner employees, so that customers in the region will be served by specialists from both business partners.

Turck and Banner Engineering have been working together in Europe for many years with joint ventures in England, France and Italy. In other regions, Turck is the regional sales partner for Banner products.
