AMA Innovation Award 2020
Application deadline started
The AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement (AMA) is calling on researchers and developers to submit innovative projects and product ideas in the field of sensor and measurement technology by January 29, 2020. The AMA Innovation Award is endowed with prize money of 10,000 euros.
Individuals and development teams from companies and research institutions with innovative research and development solutions that demonstrate a recognizable market relevance can apply. In addition, companies can apply for the special 'Young Company' award if they have been on the market for less than five years, employ fewer than 50 people and generate an annual turnover of less than 10 million euros. The winner in this special category will receive a free exhibition stand at Sensor+Test 2020 in Nuremberg.
The AMA Association has been honoring innovative researchers and developers with the AMA Innovation Award for 20 years. The prize money goes directly to the developers and not to the companies and institutions behind them. The jury is made up of industry experts from universities, research institutions and companies. In their assessment, they place particular emphasis on scientific achievement, the degree of innovation and the expected market relevance.
Conditions of participation and application documents for the AMA Innovation Award 2020 and the special category 'Young Company' as well as brochures with the award winners and all applications from previous years are available free of charge on the association's website.
The deadline for entries is January 29, 2020, and the nominated teams and the winners of the special award will be announced at the AMA press conference on March 12, 2020. The winners of the AMA Innovation Award 2020 will be honored at the opening ceremony of Sensor and Measurement Science International (SMSI) 2020 on June 22, 2020 in Nuremberg.
