"With Ecom Instruments, we have gained an industry pioneer - with recent growth of 15% - that has reliably demonstrated and expanded its pioneering and leading role in mobile explosion protection for decades and complements us with a forward-looking portfolio at the Assamstadt site," says Dr. Gunter Kegel, CEO of Pepperl+Fuchs. "In addition to the expanded product portfolio for our customers, new opportunities are being created along the entire value chain. This will not only allow us to further expand our explosion protection offering, but also further strengthen our position in the market - with a partner from the region," continues Dr. Kegel.

"Pepperl+Fuchs was our partner of choice right from the start due to its expertise in explosion protection and its extensive international sales presence. Our devices not only cover a gap there, but also enable Ecom Instruments and Pepperl+Fuchs to jointly develop completely new business models and solutions at the Assamstadt site in the future and to tap into the growth potential resulting from the technologization of the industry," states Rolf Nied, founder and managing partner of Ecom Instruments.
