Inka Krischke,

Accuracy improved

Manner is launching the Xtrema 2.0 torque sensor with improved accuracy. With an overload rating of 400 %, it can measure both continuous loads and short-term load peaks in dynamic operation.

Thanks to the short design with low rotor weight and low mass moment of inertia, nominal speeds of up to 30,000 min-1 can be achieved. As an option, the flanges can be operated in a temperature range from -40 to +160 °C. According to Manner, another special feature is the electronic compensation of the zero point error Tk0 and the pitch error Tkc, which enables a consistently high level of accuracy to be achieved regardless of the ambient temperature. The DIN flange pattern used, which is compatible with HBM torque sensors, allows easy integration into new and existing test benches with existing infrastructure. The flange pattern of all measuring ranges is retained.
