Pilz at the SPS 2022
Solution package for safeguarding AGVs
Pilz presents a safety and security solution package for safeguarding automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
The included security solution via the SecurityBridge firewall protects AGVs against unauthorized access during wireless communication. The PSENscan security laser scanner enables the protection and area monitoring of mobile platforms. The PSENscan ROS packages provide the data for the dynamic navigation of AGVs. If further safety functions such as emergency stop are to be covered on the AGV, users can use a product solution consisting of PSENscan and the modular safety relay myPNOZ.
If requirements change, myPNOZ can be added as required if the range of functions is expanded in the future. The configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 from Pilz with motion monitoring module is also suitable for more complex protective field adaptations of freely navigating AGVs. Various command and signaling devices such as the evaluation unit PITmode fusion, PITreader, the emergency stop button PITestop and the muting lamps PITsign complete the monitoring system.
