Security specialist Kaspersky has analyzed which industrial control systems are accessible via the Internet worldwide. Critical vulnerabilities were identified - at Siemens, Schneider Electric and other automation technology providers.

91.6% (172,338 different hosts) of the externally available ICS devices use insecure Internet connection protocols, which enable attackers to carry out so-called "man-in-the-middle" attacks.
