Functionally secure rugged keypads
With the functionally secure 'Premium Rugged Keypads' from the 09 series, EAO offers an intelligent solution for demanding control tasks.
Wherever superstructures or attachments on vehicles are moved and controlled automatically, safety and reliability are paramount. The rugged keypads from EAO are developed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13849 and thus achieve Performance Level D (PLd), which is confirmed and certified by DEKRA Testing and Certification. They are equipped with CANopen Safety Protocol, which was specially developed for safety-critical applications. The keypads are robustly built and, according to the supplier, offer a long service life. The robust and low-maintenance keypads reduce downtimes thanks to the integrated safety architecture for error prevention.
