Steven Wyatt appointed Chairman

Steven Wyatt will support Kawasaki Robotics' growth plans in the EMEA region. Previously, Wyatt was President of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) and held a senior position at ABB.

Steven Wyatt has been appointed Chairman of Kawasaki Robotics Europe, based in Neuss, Germany.

Kawasaki Robotics is further expanding its business throughout the EMEA region and is being supported by Steven Wyatt. The former IFR President and Global Head of Portfolio and Digital for Robotics & Discrete Automation at ABB has been appointed Chairman of Kawasaki Robotics Europe, based in Neuss, Germany. In this position, the native Scot will support the expansion of the EMEA business.

Kenji Bando, President of Kawasaki Robotics Europe, welcomes the new appointment: "Steven Wyatt is a global leader with more than a decade of international experience in the robotics industry, which he has already successfully brought to bear in his role as President of IFR. We are delighted to welcome him to Kawasaki Robotics and are confident that his strategic perspective will steer our international growth strategy in a successful direction."

Wyatt holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Earlier in his career, he held several international marketing and sales positions in the plastics industry, including at General Electric. Prior to joining Kawasaki Robotics, he managed the global portfolios of the Robotics and Machine Automation divisions at ABB and was previously Head of Marketing and Sales for their Robotics division.
