Milton Guerry appointed IFR President

Milton Guerry from Schunk USA is the new President of the International Federation of Robotics. The Vice President is Klaus König from Kuka Robotics.

Milton Guerry succeeds Steven Wyatt of ABB, Switzerland, as President of the IFR. Wyatt is leaving ABB and thus stepping down from the office he has held since December 2019. Klaus König from Kuka Robotics will become Vice President.

Guerry joined Schunk USA, based in Morrisville, North Carolina, in 2000 and held various management positions. In 2007, he took over the management of the company. He is a member of the board of the American Robotic Industries Association (RIA).

IFR Vice President Klaus König is CEO of Kuka's Robotics division in Augsburg. König joined Kuka AG as COO in July 2017. Prior to this, he held various management positions in the German automotive industry. During his career, he also took on international assignments and worked in Canada and Italy for several years. König holds a degree in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
