Last year, the German robotics and automation industry posted record sales - this was announced by the VDMA at the beginning of June 2016. The association has now broken down its figures further at Automatica 2016.

Broken down into the three segments of Robotics & Automation, Integrated Assembly Solutions was the largest sub-sector (up 10%) last year with a sales volume of EUR 6.9 billion. For the current year, the VDMA expects a sideways movement here.
