Last year, the German robotics and automation industry posted record sales - this was announced by the VDMA at the beginning of June 2016. The association has now broken down its figures further at Automatica 2016.

... will continue in the current year, albeit to a lesser extent than in 2015. The VDMA is forecasting a new sales record of EUR 12.5 billion for 2016, which would mean an increase of 2%.
