Dr. Lothar Seybold, who has held senior positions at Rafi for over ten years, has been the new CEO and Technical Managing Director since the start of 2019.
His central goal is to drive forward digitalization in all areas of the company, in line with the physical requirements for the form and function of modern operating technology.
An electronics engineer with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a PhD in control engineering, he began his career at RAFI as a product manager for operating systems. In 2013, he took over as Head of System Development.
From 2016, he was responsible for the Components and Systems divisions and was in charge of setting up innovation management. Before joining the company, he worked as a project engineer and consultant in countries including New Zealand and Switzerland.
