Good news from the robotics industry: The International Federation of Robotics (IFR) announced new record figures for the 2015 financial year at Automatica: 248,000 units sold represent an increase of 12% compared to the previous year.

In Europe, sales figures for industrial robots rose by a total of 10% to 50,000 units in 2015 compared to the previous year. Growth in the Americas was even more dynamic, with sales up 15% to a total of 37,000 units. Asia remains the strongest growth market worldwide.
