Team Tele-Magmas: An international team of researchers led by LAAS-CRNS (a research institution of the French National Center for Scientific Research), with members from the University of Siena, Seoul National University and CNRS at the IRISA research institute in Rennes, is working on search and rescue operations following disasters. With the help of robots, people can be rescued in regions that are difficult to access or dangerous. They use stationary and flying robots to carry and position objects.
